Donna Kalez is the daughter of Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching founder, Don Hansen and was born and raised in San Clemente, California. Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching, in Dana Point , Ca. is simply in her blood having been reared around the business her Dad built. Dana Wharf has been a leader having based success on global responsible sportfishing and pioneering whale watching back in 1961, and opening the Dana Wharf location in 1971. Her responsibilities include managing the daily operations of all business segments at Dana Wharf . She also sits on various community non-profit boards including Doheny State Beach Foundation and is the Chairwoman of the Dana Point Festival of Whales . Donna has a deep love and connection to Doheny State Beach and has been on the board since 2013. Her favorite event is the Wildlife Cruise for the members that her dad started doing when the park formed DSBIA .
