In partnership with California State Parks, the Doheny State Beach Foundation proudly renovated the Visitor Center—transforming it into a vibrant hub for education, exploration, and environmental awareness. The centerpiece of the center is now the largest public aquarium in the entire California State Park System. This stunning display includes tide pool touch tanks and habitat-specific exhibits that allow visitors of all ages to get up close with native marine life. In addition to the aquarium, the center features interactive displays, educational materials, and exhibits that showcase the unique wildlife, ecosystems, and cultural history of the Doheny coastline. It’s more than just a place to learn—it’s a space designed to inspire a lifelong appreciation for our ocean and its many wonders.
